Age 17. Born and raised in Neo-Tokyo. At first look, Yamagata comes off as your standard, loudmouthed gang lackey. Fortunately (or, unfortunately) for the residents of Discedo, there's far more to Yamagata than meets the eye. He's a vicious fighter, and incredibly loyal to anyone he deems as a friend. Once you get past his brash, foul-mouthed, lewd exterior, Yamagata's a guy with real heart. He can be a reckless big brother, and is actually a tad smarter than he lets on. Raised on street fighting and motorcycle gangs, Yamagata has a certain amount of knowledge as far as automotive repair goes. He's got a wide-ranging sense of humor, and tends to pick on others in jest. |

KANEDA -- The leader of Yamagata's gang back home and one of Yamagata's closest friends aside from Kai. Yamagata is extremely loyal to Kaneda, and will have his back in any situation. While Yamagata is older, he treats Kaneda with a sense of respect that comes from years of riding with the same gang. Kaneda is also the only other person from Yamagata's reality, making him all the more important as a friend. TETSUO -- While he used to look at Tetsuo as a weird kid that needed a little teaching, Yamagata's opinion of the boy recently changed for the worse, and for good reason: Tetsuo killed him. Now that the kid is in Discedo, Yamagata's hell-bent on keepng an eye on him and making sure that the people he actually cares about don't cross paths with Tetsuo, weird mind powers or not. PAN -- More than anything, Yamagata loves picking on Pan. She can outsmart him but her stubornness usually affords him enough time to gather his wits well enough to drive her up the wall, which he finds incredibly fun. His taunting and teasing is also an indirect way of trying to push Pan to grow a little more backbone, as Yamagata has taken it upon himself to push her forward and make her strong.
